Day 3

Well, we have made it to the end of day three.  Another fine day on the Coastal path with about 12 miles covered in six hours of walking.  It is amazingly slow progress on the path due to the conditions underfoot.  Lovely weather for walking, not too much sun and a breeze to keep us cool.  Fantastic scenery with magnificent views all day.  The overfalls off Strumble Head were very impressive.
Today we we joined by David and Penny from Goodwick past Strumble Head all the way to Aber Mawr.  Mari-Anne, andrew and Hugh were with us for the morning session and Rhodri and Alisha for the afternoon session.
again the path was slippery and tortuous and Hugh was conveyed safely and serenely by his dad.  Andrew will deservedly lose his clumsy reputation if he carries on like this!
At the end of the day we did the usual fast car shuffle to get to our new excellent B and B at Ty Hafan in the middle of the countryside.  The proprietor Jeff kindle drove us to and from the restaurant called The Shed in Porthgain where they specialise in fish dishes.  Terrific Sea Bass, Hake and crab were the order if the day.  Fresh?  You could say so!
Some crazy people have planned a quick swim at 7 am tomorrow morning before breakfast….let’s hope we wake up in time.  Muscles are aching but since they all are equally affected I figure it is meant to be like this.
